2015 Open Your Heart Chair

Imagine a world without heart disease or stroke.  Many say this is unattainable, considering heart disease kills more people than the next four leading causes of death combined in the United States.  But this vision - for a world free of heart disease and stroke - drives the lifesaving mission of the American Heart Association each and every day.  During our Open Your Heart Program, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the mission of the Association by making a personal gift.

Your generosity enables the American Heart Association to continue our work of funding groundbreaking research, developing guidelines to improve patient care and helping people lower their risk factors for heart disease and stroke. As long as heart disease continues to be the nation’s number one cause of death, the importance of our work will only grow. Please consider making a gift during our Open Your Heart Program.

Together, we can change lives and saves lives!

The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting cardiovascular diseases. The Association funds more cardiovascular research than any U.S. organization outside the government. Since 1949, we have invested more than $3.3 billion in the heart of our country. Each year, 22.5 million volunteers and donors work with us to create better lives by teaching, supporting and studying the needs of those at risk. But we cannot do it alone.
