The American Heart Association – Houston is a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES) can receive up to 3.5 Category I CECH by attending the Houston Workplace Health Symposium.
