The Guild of Houston is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to further the fundraising efforts of the American Heart Association through special events and activities.

Since 1983, the women of the Guild have worked tirelessly to raise funds on behalf of the AHA. Through a number of events and activities, we pool our wide-ranging talents and interests, so that we can help the AHA carry on its mission to fund research and raise awareness about preventing and identifying serious heart-health issues.

Abundant opportunities exist within the organization, allowing each member to utilize their experiences and interests.

As a member of the Guild, you have the opportunity to contribute your time and talents in a variety of ways. There are daytime projects as well as evening events and activities; your volunteer commitments can be tailored to the time you have available.

It's not just about the resources we give, the dollars we raise or the fun we have. It's about the lives we can save, together.

COVID-19 Protocols
The American Heart Association is creating mask-friendly environments at all our events. Please do not attend the event if you are not feeling well or have symptoms, irrespective of your vaccine status. If you have a condition that weakens your immune system or take certain medications, you may need to take extra precautions even if you are fully vaccinated, as instructed by your doctor. The AHA encourages you and everyone you love, care for, or care about to be vaccinated and boosted.
