Join us as we welcome two coaching icons and celebrate the 25th anniversary of Bob Stoops' Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award and the 20th anniversary of Mack Brown's Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award live in Dallas just before the Red River Rivalry! Heart disease and stroke impact people in very personal, life-changing ways. Bold moves, and dedicated researchers and volunteers, have resulted in significant medical advancements over 100 years. We haven’t done it alone. We reach our goals working with organizations and individuals who share our vision for better health. Our campaigns unite supporters with a shared purpose to raise the critical funds we need to ensure our work continues. It's not just about the resources we give, the dollars we raise, or the fun we have. It's about the lives we can save, together. The Need is Clear Since the AHA’s founding in 1924, deaths from cardiovascular diseases have been cut in half. And yet, there are still so many lives to be saved. Recently, death rates have worsened, and equity gaps have widened. Solutions are not getting to the people who need them the most. We are committed to change that. 2028 Impact Goal Building on over 100 years of trusted leadership in cardiovascular and brain health, by 2028 the AHA will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are.
